Local Teen Tested for Ebola

by
Over the weekend, Miami Fire Rescue team got a call from nearby Miami Beach, lerting them to get out the hazmat gear. Authorities in Miami Beach located a teenager with Ebola-like symptoms shortly after he landed on a flight from Western Africa. The firefighters transported the sick, unnamed teenager to Jackson Memorial’s Holtz Children’s hospital. Then, Monday morning, the city officials tweeted out, it was a false alarm. Test results came back negative for the young teen. Captain at the Miami Fire Rescue says, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Captain Ignatius Carroll said, “We’d rather overkill and go above and beyond than to not do enough.”
