Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Incites Violence With “Call To Arms”

Mayor Lori Lightfoot of Chicago gave a “call to arms” this week in reaction to the draft ruling that leaked from the Supreme Court last week and shows a decision that could soon overturn Roe v Wade.

Lightfoot tweeted this Monday, “To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms. We will not surrender our rights without a fight – a fight to victory!”

She finished, “To every staffer, elected official, and Capitol employee: please stay safe.”

For comparison, let’s look how Lori Lightfoot responded to Trump’s July 6th rally and the ensuing march on the Capitol.

People on twitter immediately called her out for inciting people and pointed to the double standard when it came to Republicans.

Liz Wheeler commented, “Excuse me I thought it was illegal to incite an insurrection? Let me ask Trump… OH WAIT he was kicked off Twitter for farrrrrr less than this Lightfoot tweet calling people to arms against SCOTUS.”

The Post Millenial pointed out that according to Twitter’s Rules and Policies, Lightoot violated the “violence” category that says that you should not “threaten violence against an individual or group of people. We also prohibit the glorification of violence. Learn more about our violent threat and glorification of violence policies.”

I’m sure if it was a Republican, they would have got him.

On Monday, Supreme Court Justice Alito and his family were moved for their safety to another location because of consistent protesting outside the justice’s houses.

On Sunday morning, a pro-life group suffered an arson attack on the Wisconsin Family Action group in Madison.

Do you think these kind of attacks will continue? Do you think that Lori Lightfoot should be held to the same standards as Former President Trump?
