Meghan Markle made quite a splash in the British Royal Family. Or maybe one could call it a tidal wave, not splash. Now, Joe Biden’s sister thinks it’d be a good idea for Meghan to run for President of the United States.

Valerie Biden Owens is Joe Biden’s 76 year old sister. She has worked in politics, for him, when she managed his runs for Senator of Delaware. She is obviously still thinking about politics, since she wants Meghan Markle to join the Democrat Party.

According to the Royal News Channel, Meghan Markle has lobbied Republican politicians for paid parental leave and a climate policy, two very liberal positions. Valerie Biden Owens said of this “It’s wonderful to have women in politics. The more women we have the better our democratic system will work. We welcome her to come in and join the Democratic Party.”

Biden Owens had this to say when asked is Meghan Markle would make a good Presidential candidate one day: “Yes, perhaps. Of course she will.”

Biden Owens has political experience and influence, at least as it relates to Joe Biden. She was only 26 when she ran her brother’s, first campaign for United States Senate. She ultimately ran 7 Senate campaigns, one county council race and three Presidential elections.

Given this, she likely has some good connections and some influence in the Democratic Party. Furthermore, Meghan Markle is the liberal mainstream media’s little darling. Lest we not forget that, after Piers Morgan said he didn’t believe what Markle told Oprah Winfrey, during the “two hour whine fest she did with Prince Harry,” he was summarily fired. After that, Sharon Osborne, long-time host of The Talk, defended Morgan, and she was summarily fired as well.

I can just see the bumper stickers and house signs now: “Meghan Markle for President.” She is a power grabber for sure, and with the media’s love and the Biden connections, do you think it will ever happen?
