Joy Behar REALLY must hate conservatives and the entire pro-life movement. Not to say we weren’t aware of that already, but it became even more clear this week after she gave a big supportive statement to the pro-choice protesters around the country.
The whole thing started when Trump’s former White House Communications Director Alyssa Farah Griffin described Republican politicians flip-flopping on the January 6th rioters as “funny”.
“What’s funny about this,” Farrah said, “is Ted Cruz, right after January 6th, called the protesters terrorists. He condemned them. Now he’s on every side of this issue and now they were peacefully protesting, which the obviously weren’t.”
She then defended the right of Americans to peacefully protest, saying so far that is what she’s seen outside the houses of the 5 conservative justices who signed the draft to end Roe v Wade before adding, “I think the more appropriate venue is the steps of the Supreme Court. I worry it could begin to look like intimidation at someone’s doorsteps.”
Co-Host Whoopi Goldberg then pushed back against Griffin’s statement, suggesting the justices were intimidating women with their draft, “So does what Alito wrote. Looks the same way to me. It looks like intimidation. And yeah, it’s kind of the same thing.”
Co-host Joy Behar then went off on the issue, suggesting Alito is getting a taste of his own medicine with the protesters outside his home.
“But it also shows Alito what it feels like to lose your freedom of choice,” Behar said. “He cannot leave the house easily, so maybe that’s a good lesson for them.”
So in her mind, it’s all tit for tat. Almost like the intimidation statement left by Antifa radicals in a pro-choice org they burnt down in Wisconsin which read, “If abortion isn’t safe, neither are you.” Do you think Behar secretly supports the use of violence to achieve her goals? Do you think she would ever say it outright or is she too concerned with protecting her brand?
