Lindsey Graham Caught On Tape Praising Biden On Jan. 6

On January 6, 2021, Lindsey Graham told a New York Times reporter that Joe Biden is “maybe the best person to have” and that he’ll be the unifier that Joe Biden touted himself as on the campaign trail.

Two reporters gave the audio to CNN to promote the release of their new book titled This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden And the Battle For America’s Future. The authors are New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns. Listen to the tape below.

The call that was released on CNN took place when Capitol police were clearing the building.

“We will actually come out of this thing stronger. Moments like this reset. It’ll take a while. People will calm down. People will [say] ‘I don’t want to be associated with that.’ This is a group within a group. What this does, it’ll be a rallying effect for a while, where the country says, ‘We’re better than this,’” Graham told Martin on tape.

Martin quipped back, “And Biden will be better, right?”

“Totally, he’ll be maybe the best person to have, right? I mean, how mad can you get at Joe Biden?”Graham said back.

The two reporters appeared on CNN’s Anderson Cooper to further the story. Watch their full piece below.

Graham’s statements today on January 6th and the events that took place that day are quite different. He has even golfed with former President Trump on multiple occasions.

In another statement to Martin, Graham said in a barb a Trump, “He’s misjudged the passion, he plays the TV game and he went too far. That rally didn’t help, talking about primarying Liz [Cheney]. He created a sense of revenge.”

Do you think Lindsey Graham is two faced or is he simply being a politician? Let us know below.
