Fauci Says He Will Quit if Trump is Re-Elected

It looks like we finally have found the solution to Fauci. The head of the National Institute of Health Dr Anthony Fauci admitted during an interview that there is one single thing Americans can do to make him quit his current post.

Fauci was speaking to CNN’s Jim Acosta when Acosta asked him straight up how he would handle the possibility that Donald Trump could become President in 2024.

Acosta asked America’s top infectious disease expert, “If Trump were to return to the White House as President, and COVID was still a threat or there was some other public health emergency, would you have confidence in his ability to deal with a pandemic of this nature?” He then followed up with the big question, “Would you want to stay on at your post?”

“Well, no to the second question,'”Fauci almost immediately responded while letting out the nervous laugh of a man who knows his career expiration date is quickly approaching.

The doctor then continued by bashing the former President and his administrations response to the COVID pandemic, “The first question, if you look at the history of what the response was during the administration, I think at best you could say it wasn’t optimal and I think just history will speak for itself. I don’t need to make any further comment about that, it’s not productive.”

Interestingly enough, for all his criticisms, Fauci failed to mention that he was personally the head of the “not optimal” response from the Trump administration on which he is referring to.

When the pandemic first began, Fauci and Trump seemed as close as 2 peas in a pod, often singing the praises of one another to the press any chance they got. As the months went on and America failed to reopen, however, their friendship quickly devolved into a war of words, with Trump referring to his former buddy as an idiot and Fauci seemingly trying to undermine the president at every turn.

Despite his clear dislike of the former President, Anthony Fauci has been critical of the Biden administration plenty of times during the pandemic as well, frequently calling out their lies during interviews and releasing health suggestions that run contrary to the goals of the current adminstration.

Considering the constant clashing with the people running the country, what do you think the chances are of Fauci being in that office by the time Biden is out? Do you think he will actually quit if Trump gets reelected?
