Retraction: Wrong Michael Sussman Identified in Article

Next News Network would like to clarify a mistake on a previous piece that misidentified the wrong Michael Sussman as the attorney for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

The Michael Sussman in the initial image is actually a New York attorney who has previously run for public office.

According to Ballotpedia, Michael Sussman (Green Party) ran for election for Attorney General of New York. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Sussman is an accomplished Civil Rights attorney. The Gotham Gazette says, “His most famous work came in Yonkers, New York, where he won a landmark case aimed at tearing down the city’s racial segregation, among other cases, and where he organized his fellow Democrats, holding rallies, and speaking at many public events on a variety of causes over decades.”

He is not the same person as the Michael Sussman from the Clinton campaign, pictured below, who is currently under investigation for lying to the FBI.

Next News Network has corrected the article and YouTube video to reflect the correct image of the correct Michael Sussman. Again, we apologize to Sussman and our readers for the error.
