“An Incredible Transition:” Biden Says Soaring Gas Prices Are Green

President Joe Biden made a statement on Monday in Japan that is turning heads. At a press conference with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Biden was asked if we are likely to see a recession in the United States.

“When it comes to the gas prices,” the President mumbled. “We’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that God willing when it’s over we’ll be stronger, and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over.”

During his speech, Biden mentioned his administration’s move to release $180 million barrels of gas from the strategic reserve back in March. Biden mentioned in the speech that it has not fixed the problem yet.

The average price at the pump reached $4.59 per gallon compared to $4.11 last month, says AAA.

Next News Network reported that Biden’s Interior Department cancelled the oil and gas lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska’s Cook Inlet. This news comes after the nation might be set to face fuel shortages, especially in diesel.

Biden’s inability to fix the gasoline crisis has led to the worst polling that his administration has received since he took office. According to a poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Research, only 39% of U.S. adults approve of Biden’s performance as president.

Are you confident that Biden can fix the gas crisis? Rate your confidence in him on a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the highest.
