Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board was a train wreck from the start. It didn’t make it a month, before it was canceled, or at least paused. It was criticized by both the left and the right, both for the mere idea of the thing, but also for who the Biden got to run the thing.
Nina Jankowicz was chosen as the head of the agency and was touted as a disinformation expert who had worked on Ukraine and Russia issues. But she was mired in controversy from the beginning.
Now, according to Town Hall, Jankowicz is “going on the liberal media circuit to say she was derailed by right-wing disinformation.”
She appeared on CNN, accepting zero responsibility for the fact that she is actually one of the worst spreaders of disinformation around. She said, “unfortunately and ironically we were undone exactly by a disinformation campaign coming from folks who apparently want to put our national security behind their own personal political ambitions.”
Jankowicz also appeared on CBS News. She attempted to defend herself in quite a manic fashion, saying her political beliefs were always “checked at the door” of DHS, and that “[i]t is quite ironic that Republicans decontextualized a couple of tweets … & parts of my personal life that have been picked on in this childish game in order to endanger our national security[.]”
See what Elon Musk thought of Nina Jankowicz
As the head of Joe Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board, or the Thought Police, she actually claimed to have been protecting First Amendment rights. Listening to her, you can see that she buys the garbage she is spewing. She even admitted that she can understand why Americans might be upset by a Board that decides what’s true or false, then denies that’s what the Board would have done, saying she doesn’t deserve death threats for her public service. Is she for real? Please sound off in the comments.
