Kamala Harris Makes Major Gaffe When Talking About Kids

Kamala Harris was caught mixing up her words again during a speech outside of the Children’s National Hospital in Washington on Monday afternoon.

The Vice President was joined by Surgeon General Vivek Murthy to tour the facility and promote awareness of caregiver burnout during the recent Pandemic.

Harris was speaking to the crowd, praising the doctors and nurses for working so hard on a cause that was personal to them. She went on to talk about the children that these medical professionals care for, and that’s when it happened.

“When we talk about the children of the community, they are children of the community,” Harris said.

She later added: “We should all feel a direct sense of responsibility for their wellbeing.”

This is certainly not the first time that Harris has made a mistake like this in recent months. She had a similar stumble while representing the United States in Jamaica during a recent visit.

“For Jamaica, one of the issues that has been presented as an issue that is economic in the way its impact has been the pandemic…we will assist Jamaica in Covid recovery by assisting in terms of the recovery efforts in Jamaica that have been essential.”

She also made an attempt to explain the war in Ukraine on a recent podcast, telling the host “Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country.”

Kamala Harris initially had a major role in the Biden administration, being named the head of major projects such as healthcare and the crisis at our southern border. However, after a significant amount of public backlash for her performance, she seems to have taken a backseat in recent months.

Do you think Joe Biden has been sidelining Kamala on purpose? Do you believe he is more worried about her making gaffes like this or over the possibility that she could help invoke the 25th Amendment and replace him as leader of the country?
