Trump Shares Message About Coming Civil War

Former President Donald Trump took to his own social media platform, Truth Social, this week to share a message to his supporters about an impending civil war threatening our country.

The source of the claim was based on a Tweet put out by FOX News’s Laura Logan that was a screen grab of another Tweet by El Salvadorian President Nayib Bukele which warned that America is falling fast because of an “enemy” “from within”.

Bukele’s message read, “The most powerful country in the world is falling so fast, that it makes you rethink what are the real reasons. Something so big and powerful can’t be destroyed so quickly, unless the enemy comes from within.

A profile named Maga King Thanos then shared Logan’s post to Truth Social, adding simply “Civil War”

Trump then shared, or ReTruthed, the post from MAGA King Thanos on his own page.

The Biden administration has been in a war of words with the President of El Salvador.

In April the State Department spokesman Ned Price posted on Twitter, referencing a narrative that Free Speech is under threat thanks to Bukele’s government: “The U.S. government continues to support El Salvador in its efforts to reduce the proliferation of gangs. We urge El Salvador to protect its citizens while also upholding civil liberties, including freedom of the press.”

Bukele fired back, declaring the only real support his country got to fight gangs and crime was from former President Trump’s administration.

“The U.S. government continues to support El Salvador to reduce the proliferation of gangs’. Really? Yes, we got support from the U.S. government to fight crime, but the was UNDER THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION. You are only supporting the gangs and their ‘civil liberties’ now.”

Trump has been actively posting on Truth Social since it was announced that Elon Musk had secured a deal to buy out Twitter and offered to restore Trump’s access to his 80 million followers. Do you think he was serious about the threat of a Civil War in our country or was he simply trying to appease a devoted follower by sharing his post?
