George Soros: “Civilization May Not Survive” Unless Putin is Removed

Billionaire Democrat mega-donor George Soros issued a dire warning about the state of the world this week over the war in Ukraine. According to Soros, the only way to save the world is to get rid of Putin.

Soros had been invited to speak at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he promoted anti-Russian and anti-Chinese sentiment.

“The invasion may have been the beginning of the Third World War and our civilization may not survive it,” Soros told Davos. “The best and perhaps only way to preserve our civilization is to defeat Putin as soon as possible. That’s the bottom line”

Soros also claimed that Putin has come to regret his “special operation” in Ukraine after it has stalled for several months despite initial predictions that the country would fall in days.

He then criticized the various “ceasefire” agreements negotiated between Russia and Ukraine, which Russia has consistently broken, “But the ceasefire is unattainable because he cannot be trusted. The weaker Putin gets the more unpredictable he becomes.”

According to the Billionaire, Russia is not the only real threat to the United States or other developed countries, either. “Repressive regimes are now in the ascendant and open societies are under siege. Today China and Russia present the greatest threat to open society.”

He went on to express concerns that China was using digital technology platforms, including artificial intelligence, to surveil their citizens more than ever before.

Soros went on to directly attack the President of China, Xi Jinping, for his “failed” zero CV strategy, saying it cost him significant influence in the Communist Party. Soros believes they will reign in Xi’s power if he wins a third term.

While George Soros may be right about the threats that China and Russia pose to countries like the United States, there are plenty of people out there who are just as concerned with his role in politics. Do you agree with what Soros said? Would you trust him to take the lead to solve these problems?
