Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Gives Weak Response to Claims He Was Driving Under the Influence

On Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend, Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi made the news, and it wasn’t good.  He was arrested for DUI.

According to reports, Paul Pelosi, age 82 and Nancy’s husband of close to 60 years, was arrested at 11:44 pm on Saturday night.  He was booked into jail at 04:13 a.m. on Sunday, and released at 7:26 a.m. with bail set at $5000.

Fox News has reported the Paul Pelosi “blasted through a stop sign” before he was involved in a motor vehicle accident while driving a 2021 Porsche. Napa County booking records indicate Mr. Pelosi was charged with two misdemeanors, both being DUI related.

Fox hosts wondered the obvious, which is why a man worth hundreds of millions of dollars didn’t just call an Uber.

Mr. Pelosi has now responded to the news regarding his arrest.  He did so through a spokesperson by the name of Larry Kamer on Sunday.  Kramer said, “Several news reports about Saturday night’s traffic incident involving Paul Pelosi have included incorrect information,” reported The Daily Beast.

Mr. Pelosi’s spokesperson, in fact, was only able to take issue with the timing of the incident in question and with a report about Mr. Pelosi’s record, stating  “A prior driving offense erroneously attributed to Mr. Pelosi is untrue and likely refers to an unrelated person with the same name. This error must be corrected. There are also incorrect reports that misstate the timing of events.”

Okay, so this may be Nancy Pelosi’s husband’s first DUI arrest.  And maybe the accident took place at a different time than has been previously reported.  He was still arrested for DUI on Saturday night after being involved in a car accident. He still allegedly ran a stop sign. He still didn’t do the responsible thing and call an Uber. He still got to bond out for only $5,000.  Do you think he was, or will be, given special treatment?
