Pro abortion activists stripped down in the middle of a Sunday service at from megachurch preacher Joel Osteen.

The three women, who work for abortion rights organization Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights, joined Osteen’s church service in Texas, sitting patiently throughout the entire sermon. It wasn’t until after Osteen finished that they stood up and stripped down.

The activists could be heard yelling common pro-abortion slogans including “My body, my f*g choice!” and “Overturn Roe, hell no!”

The women can also be seen wearing pink underwear with green handprints on their chests and fake blood smeared between their legs.

Within moments the pro-choice women were escorted out of the service. The large congregation cheered for security as they were removed.

The removal was not the end of the protest, however. The activists continued their chants outside of the church.

Once outside, one of the women said, “We’re here today to break the silence and stand up because Christians are not afraid to bother us at healthcare clinics, at doctor’s offices, why the f*** wouldn’t we bother you in your own home where the laws are coming from?”

Osteen’s church has since removed the live taping of the service from the internet.

Protests have been increasing in intensity following the leak of a draft decision from the Supreme Court suggesting the court will overturn Roe v Wade. While this would not make abortion illegal, it would make it no longer considered a constitutional right, handing decisions on abortion access back to the states.

The Supreme Court is expected to decide on a large number of cases this week, with some expecting the reversal of Roe v Wade to be amongst them. Biden’s administration has said they expect violent protests with “mass casualties” in response to the ending of the SCOTUS protections.

While the protesters may have been annoying to Osteen’s congregants, they still allowed the service to conclude and didn’t act violently. Do you think protests like these should be protected under the 1st Amendment or did they go too far?
