Republican Report Reveals How Dangerous Disinformation Board Was

A new report from Republicans in the US Senate revealed the extent of the dangers posed by Biden’s disinformation board.

The report, co-authored by Senators Chuck Grassley and Josh Hawley, has claims from an insider whistleblower on the Disinformation Governance Board (DGB) about their long-term goals.

According to the whistleblower, the DGB was planning to coordinate with top social media companies to remove content they found objectionable. The report revealed that the Board’s head, Nina Jankowicz, was close with multiple top leaders of Twitter and may have been hired for that purpose.

The report reads, “According to whistleblower allegations, Nina Jankowicz may have been hired because of her relationship with executives at Twitter. Collectively, whistleblower allegations and the documents we’ve reviewed raise concerns that DHS could be seeking an active role in coordinating the censorship of viewpoints that it determines, according to an unknown standard, to be “MDM” by enlisting the help of social media companies and big tech.”

The Senators also noted that, even if information is provably false, it is still protected from government scrutiny under the First Amendment of the Constitution. “DHS should not in any way seek to enlist the private sector to curb or silence opposing viewpoints,” they wrote.

Jankowicz famously resigned from the board after it was revealed that she promoted false claims about Hunter Biden’s laptop and Trump’s alleged Russian ties.

The Senators wrote, “So this begs the question if the (former) executive director of the DGB is incapable of determining what is and is not disinformation, how could the DGB ever have expected to function properly under her leadership?”

The White House claimed to have hired Jankowicz to the board because of her “expertise” on disinformation. She authored the book How to Lose the Information War about Russians influencing foreign elections. If the real reason she was hired was because of her ties to Silicon Valley, that could become a constitutional crisis for Joe Biden.

Why do you think Biden made her the head of the Disinformation Governance Board? Do you think he will try to bring it back again?
