This story might give you flashbacks of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. In fact, it is quite reminiscent of a scene from that movie. Remember when Augustus Gloop fell into the chocolate river?
Something similar happened at the M&M Mars factory in Elizabethton, Pennsylvania on Thursday. Reportedly, two employees ended up in a chocolate vat, but it is still unknown as to how. 911 was called and the two were rescued and transported to the hospital. One had to be transported by helicopter and the other went by ambulance, reports USA Today.
According to Brad Wolfe, communications supervisor for Lancaster County 911 dispatch, fire crews had to “cut a hole in the side of the tank to get them out,” after being unable to pull them straight out of the chocolate that was reportedly only waist deep, according to Penn Live. No serious injuries have been reported at this time.
The company website says the site makes more than just chocolate, although that is most people’s favorite. They also make pet food and other pet care products, candy like M&M’s, Snickers and Skittles and foods such as Ben’s Original, Dolmio sauces and more.

Many might dream of swimming in a big tank of chocolate. Augustus Gloop certainly did, although Willie Wonka tried to dissuade him. While the extent of the injuries sustained by the two employees is unknown, there are worse ways to go than drowning in chocolate. Can you think of any reason the two might have ended up in the chocolate tank?

Reminds me of the Smothers Brother's song, "I yelled fire when I fell into the chocolate" Dick asked Tom why he yelled fire. To which Tom replied, "who'd answer if I yelled chocolate?"
