On Tuesday, President Biden asked parents to schedule their vaccinations for children as young as 6 months old and claimed that the U.S. needs to prepare for a “second pandemic.”

In a statement that is bound to ruffle the feathers of Conservatives and contrarians, Biden asked for more money to fight the unnamed forthcoming pandemic.

“We need more money. We don’t just need more money for vaccines for children, we need more money to plan for the second pandemic. There’s gonna be another pandemic,” the president said.

Biden stressed that the jab is “safe and effective” and that the FDA and CDC authorized them after “extensive scientific review.”

“The United States is now the first country in the world to offer safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as 6 months old,” Biden said during his presser.

“[For] the first time in our fight against this pandemic, nearly every American can now have access to life-saving vaccines,” he continued. “This is a very historic milestone — a monumental step forward.”

On Saturday, the CDC voted unanimously to recommend the jab to children ages 6 months and older. The FDA gave emergency use authorization on Friday to Pfizer/BioNTech.

Studies show that many parents would not jab their kids at this age. Only one in five parents said they were prepared to inoculate their very young children – which is why Biden is advocating for it.

Biden said that Walgreens, CVS, and Walmart will be scheduling appointments later this week.

Biden also used his speech to attack Governor Ron DeSantis. The governor announced last week that Florida will not provide programs to get shots in the arms of infants and young kids.

In his statement, DeSantis pointed to media hysteria as the reason that some parents are seeking to jab their children.

Many people have been wary of the jab and Biden’s sloppy wording around it is not helping alleviate people’s fears. The president has done a p*ss poor job everywhere else.
