Jurassic World Actor Chris Pratt Honored WW2 Veterans

Famous Hollywood celebrity Chris Pratt went out of his way to honor a group of World War 2 veterans during a movie premiere this week.

Pratt, who has often been criticized by the radical left for his conservative Christian views, was at the premier of his upcoming television series “The Terminal List”.

“The Terminal List” is a limited series about Captain James Reece , a US Navy SEAL whose entire unit is ambushed during a covert mission. He is then forced to infiltrate the Russian Mafia to save his family and find out what really happened on the mission.

A large group of World War 2 veterans showed up for the premier of the series based on a popular book series by the same name. Instead of just blowing by them like so many others in Hollywood, Pratt stepped off the red carpet and took time to meet and greet all the brave former soldiers, praising them as members of the “greatest generation”.

“Well this is a wonderful group of extraordinary men of the greatest generation,” the “Jurassic World” star told the Associated Press.

Pratt has often displayed his Christian conservatism publicly despite Hollywood generally being unfavorable to people like him. He and his brother famously celebrated Easter by dragging a large wooden cross through the California desert in honor of Jesus’s struggles.

He was also criticized once for wearing a “Don’t Tread on Me” t-shirt in public with the Gadsden Flag on it and for frequently posting pro-God messages on his social media account.

Pratt, who is both and actor and executive producer for the patriotic Amazon Prime series, said he chose to adapt the books and play the titular role because of his “absolute affinity for our Navy SEAL community, for our men and women in uniform and especially for our special operators and all they go through and all they sacrifice.”

It’s rare to see actors being openly conservative in the modern day. It’s even less common to see one survive and become as high profile and successful as Chris Pratt. Do you support Pratt and his films because of his political views? Would you like to see him run for office himself someday?
