Trump Responds To Supreme Court Overturning Of Roe v. Wade

According to Fox News, President Trump was asked about his role in the Supreme Court’s recent overturning of Roe v. Wade. He gave a response that his supporters will love.

According to Fox, Trump gave the glory to God instead of taking responsibility for the Supreme Court decision: “God made the decision.”

Trump also told Fox News that the new ruling “will work out for everybody.”

“This is following the Constitution, and giving rights back when they should have been given long ago,” Trump told Fox News.

“This brings everything back to the states where it has always belonged,” Trump said.

Trump was responsible for nominating Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett during his 4-year term.

In their decision on Roe v. Wade, Alito wrote, “The Court did not explain the basis for this line, and even abortion supporters have found it hard to defend Roe’s reasoning.”

Justices Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elana Kagan gave their dissenting opinion and said women do not have rights anymore.

“The Court knew that Americans hold profoundly different views about the ‘moral[ity]’ of ‘terminating a pregnancy, even in its earliest stage,'” they wrote.

“Today, the Court discards that balance,” they wrote. “It says that from the very moment of fertilization, a woman has no rights to speak of.”

Hannity: “They Can Come Arrest Me” In Defiance Of Juul Ban

Democrats in Congress tried to codify Roe v. Wade into law, but the bill could not make it past the Senate. It only got 49 votes and failed to clear a test vote.

President Biden attacked Republicans for voting against abortion legislation at the time saying it came at a time when “women’s constitutional rights are under unprecedented attack.”

The left is going to hate that Trump made a massive impact on the Supreme Court during his presidency. Now, the states can finally decide for the people of their state. There is no federal law on abortion in this country. It’s not the Supreme Court’s job to write laws: that’s for Congress. Did you like Trump’s response? Tell us your thoughts below.
