The Hell With The Supreme Court!” Declares Maxine Waters

Liberal California Congresswoman Maxine Waters told a large group of her supporters last week to defy the Supreme Court’s recent ruling on abortion.

The notoriously inflammatory congresswoman from Los Angeles was speaking to a large crowd of pro-choice protesters when she made the declaration of war on America’s highest court.

“You see this crowd out here, you ain’t seen nothing yet,” the congresswoman said outside of the Supreme Court. “Women are going to control their bodies no matter how they try and stop us. The hell with the Supreme Court. We will defy them.”

Waters did not stop there, either. The California representative, who is herself Black and made her name protesting the Rodney King beating, painted the decision as a move against Black women, and declared Black women will take to the streets to fight back against it.

“Women will be in control of their bodies. And if they think Black women are intimidated or afraid, they got another [thing] coming. Black women will be out in droves,” she continued. “We will be out by the thousands. We will be out by the millions. We are going to make sure we fight for the right to control our own bodies.”

Maxine’s attacks came after the Supreme Court chose to reverse the nearly 50-year-old decision by the Court to make abortion access a constitutional right for US citizens. The new decision by the Court finds that abortions are not explicitly protected by the Constitution, sending the decision back to the states.

It’s widely expected that the fight from the left to reinstitute abortion will only heat up in the coming months following the reversal of Roe v Wade. Even President Biden predicted “mass casualty” events following the decision. Do you think Maxine Waters is right that the left will defy the ruling and take their fight to the streets?
