Hillary Clinton Tears Into Clarence Thomas Over Roe v Wade

Hillary Clinton lashed out at the Supreme Court and specifically Justice Clarence Thomas during a freewheeling interview with CBS Morning on Tuesday.

The former Secretary of State joined Gayle King to discuss the recent reversal of Roe v Wade that sent abortion rights issues back down to the state level. In almost no time the conversation turned from a question about Thomas’s attached opinion to the mass death of women across the country.

King started out by asking the former First Lady if she believed Thomas’s gripe that other justices refused to review case law concerning same-sex marriage and contraception,

“Justice Thomas just sort of floated that out there about contraceptive rights, and contraception, and about same-sex marriages, but other justices have pushed back to say no, he is really sort of on his own with that. Do you believe that?” King asked.

Former Senator Clinton described Thomas, who she has known for decades, as a “person of grievance”, saying he is simply always angry and resentful. Still, she admitted that she believed the rest of the court had no appetite for his suggestions.

“Well, he may be on his own, but he is signaling as he often did, people, I went to law school with him,” Clinton continued. “He’s been a person of grievance for as long as I have known him, resentment, grievance, anger, and he has signaled in the past to lower courts, to state legislatures, find cases, pass laws, get them up. I may not win the first, the second, or the third time, but we’re going to keep at it.”

“You’re saying people pay attention to it,” King pushed back, wondering who Thomas was “signaling” to with his opinion. Hillary then responded by explaining he is signaling to lower level conservative judges before adding her opinion that “women will die”.

“The people he is speaking to, which is the right-wing very conservative judges and justices and state legislatures, and the thing that is, well, there are so many things about it that are deeply distressing, but women are going to die, Gayle. Women will die,” Clinton insisted.

Hillary Clinton has teased a potential Presidential run since losing to Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Despite this, she has maintained that she will not be running in 2024. Gayle King still pressed the ambitious Democrat leader on the possibility of a run. Instead of giving a straight up no this time, however, Hillary suggested some openness to the idea, saying, “I can’t imagine it. I really can’t.”

Clinton also added that she will stay “active and outspoken” regardless of what the future holds for her.

Hillary Clinton is portraying herself one of millions of liberal women who are furious at the Court for reversing Roe v Wade. Do you think her fury and intentions are genuine or is this just another chance for her to relaunch her candidacy?

  • So, "Women will die, . . ., " says the bitter and perpetually jealous former Secretary of State. I'm thinking that maybe it's time that women got in line with the babies instead of the women expecting the babies to pay the freight for their carelessness. As for her comments on Justice Thomas, can we be sure Ms. Hillary that this isn't just your interpretation of old-fashioned Democratic Party bigotry against Blacks, rearing its ugly head, again. You know that hidden agenda that says that all must know their place in life. Which you would interpret as meaning that you are so far ahead in the line that you own the right to put others in their party-approved slot in the caste system . . . and you would interpret as meaning that you are qualified to be a Justice, but Justice Thomas should be working the men's room. You all are rather good at hiding your racism. However, those who fight their racist impulses can, yes, we all have them, see through the veil but are generally just too polite to indict you for it. Having my own character flaws, I am not too polite to say it, and have.

  • Most Americans understand what's going on here, and we do NOT buy into the deceit and lies of the current political system and the politicians who for personal gain of power, continue to try to remain in power and/or continue to try to remain relevant after they have destroyed people and the country that allowed them their ten minutes of fame.
