The Supreme Court of New York struck down a New York City law that allowed noncitizens to vote.
The Court ruled that the new law violated New York State election law and the Municipal Home Rule, saying it would require a referendum to pass something that would shift voting so significantly.
The law was voted into place by the New York City Council last December and would have allowed any legal resident, including green card holders, in the city to vote in city elections if they have been there for 30 days.
It would have gone into effect in 2023 and would have added roughly 800,000 new voters to the rolls. They would still not have been allowed to vote in state or federal elections.
Following the vote, the Republican National Committee along with the New York Republican party and a large group of City Council members who voted against the legislation sued to have it canceled. This week the NY Supreme Court ruled in their favor.
“Today’s decision validates those of us who can read the plain English words of our state constitution and state statutes: Noncitizen voting in New York is illegal, and shame on those who thought they could skirt the law for political gain. Opposition to this measure was bipartisan and cut across countless neighborhood and ethnic lines, yet progressives chose to ignore both our constitution and public sentiment in order to suit their aims. I commend the court in recognizing reality and reminding New York’s professional protestor class that the rule of law matters”‘ said GOP City Council minority leader Joseph Borelli in a statement.

New York City is the first major metropolis in the United States to try and allow noncitizens to vote, although over a dozen communities across the country have successfully passed similar laws. Some states like Alabama, Arizona, Colorado and Florida have passed their own laws to prevent cities from making similar moves.

Thank God it now becomes apparent that even in a Democrat controlled state some sanity still remains. Illegal Aliens imported into America to prop up the failing Democrat party voted in California and other Democrat states during the 2020 election. If this ruling is upheld we can say goodbye to many corrupt demons in the foreign controlled Democrat Political party. The Rothschild's who rose to power in 1666 as the official tax collectors for the Royal family in England were the very reason for the war for independence fought by the U.S. then the civil war by funding the South so that they could prepare in advance for the effort to surrender American Sovereignty returning to British control. The Rothschild's have controlled the Democrats since the founding of the Democrat party the Satanic left. The Free Masons established centuries earlier as a benevolent organization was restructured into a thirty three level demonic cult. It is not until the eager member reaches level five do they begin to understand the evil that exists within the organization. Bush senior in a number of his speech's referred to the thousand points of light which is a hall in the castle where Satanic rituals are celebrated. Finally the third cult the Fabian Society was established funded with Rothschild money. Most Democrat politicians are affiliated with one or more of these cults They answer to the Rothschild's overseer George Soros and have no real value as someone who willingly answer to we the people. Their efforts support criminal activities that instill fear in the masses to assume control over we the people through the lies they use to kill steal and destroy. Democrats see no value in human life and therefore will not hesitate to kill those who get in their way. Leftist parties around the world exhibit the same traits.
This is ridiculous. I'm an Australian and I should be allowed to vote in any US election I choose. I can always do a mail-in vote and shouldn't have to produce ID. This is discriminating against the rest of the world and is stopping the rest of the world from voting in US elections. You guys didn't seem to mind the rest of the world voting in your last election, so why all the fuss now?
