Disney’s Marvel to Release Gay Spiderman

In an effort to become the most woke company in America, Disney is putting out children’s movie after children’s movie that includes gay couples and/or scenes. There’s “Lightyear” with the lesbian kiss, and they are set to release “Strange World” at Thanksgiving, which includes the first animated gay teen couple. Now, they are taking a long-time favorite superhero and creating a gay version of Spiderman.

Disney bought Marvel in 2009, paying $4 billion. They have now announced the first gay Spiderman. He will be a new character by the name of Web-Weaver, in the Edge of Spider-Verse #5 which is set to be released in September. Marvel writer Steve Foxe released the news: “Marvel introduces its first gay Spider-Man as the latest Edge of Spider-Verse variant.”

While Foxe’s Twitter account is private, the Daily Wire reports that he tweeted “SURPRISE: I had the huge gay honor of helping to co-create WEB-WEAVER, who’ll make his debut in EDGE OF THE SPIDER-VERSE #5 this September!”

Foxe added: “Something I realized immediately when conceiving Web-Weaver is that he can’t–and shouldn’t–represent ALL gay men. No single character can. His fearlessly femme identity is central to who he is, but it’s not the STORY…which you can experience for yourself in September!”

Kris Anka designed the new spiderman character. Anka said, “From the jump, I looked at a lot of McQueen and Mugler for this as inspiration. I cast a wide net for the original designs while also looking at new and unique spiders that [Foxe] has recommended, which eventually paired down to this look.”

In a synopsis, Web-Weaver is described this way: “WEB-WEAVER: A not-so-mild mannered fashion designer at Van Dyne gets spider-powers and shows us a very different kind of Spider-Slayer.”

Last year, Disney’s Marvel rolled out a gay Captain America, named Aaron Fischer. Writer Joshua Trujillo said this about the new superhero: “Aaron is inspired by heroes of the queer community: activists, leaders, and everyday folks pushing for a better life. He stands for the oppressed, and the forgotten. I hope his debut story resonates with readers and helps inspire the next generation of heroes.”

A nurse refused to prescribe meds to white male conservatives, then resigned her job

Why are we suddenly introducing sexuality into childhood heroes? As a child, most of us never thought about Spiderman’s sex life. We still wouldn’t, if Disney would just leave it alone. Like the Ken Doll, these characters were just asexual, because young kids don’t need to be introduced to sexuality. What do you think about the newest spiderman character?
