Steve Bannon Blasts Joe Rogan for Refusing to Help Trump

Former Breitbart Editor and advisor to the President Steve Bannon has gone on the attack against podcaster Joe Rogan.

Earlier this week Rogan revealed that he is not a fan of former President Donald Trump. The host said that he refuses to have Trump on his podcast because he doesn’t wish to help him politically.

According to the podcaster, Trump’s people have reached out to him for interviews multiple times and he has continuously refused. He blasted Trump for creating “division” in the country, clarifying that he is “not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form.”

Steve Bannon, who has always had a cozy relationship with the former president and the MAGA movement, tore into Rogan over his statements and his refusal to platform Trump.

“You got Joe Rogan over there, trash-talking Trump. ‘Oh don’t give Trump any platform.’ No offense. He doesn’t need your platform. He doesn’t need your low-information voters,” Bannon said on his podcast, War Room: Pandemic.

Bannon took his criticisms even further. Bannon suggested that listeners of the Joe Rogan Experience, which averages over 11 million listeners per episode, are too stupid to understand Trump anyways, saying the former President only deals with “high-information people”.

“Your audience couldn’t handle War Room, couldn’t follow it,” Bannon said. “Start talking inverted yield curve, your eyes would cross.”

Steve Bannon also tried to tie Joe Rogan to the recent July 4th mass shooting in Highland Park because his podcast appears on Spotify.

“You know Joe Rogan’s trash talking Trump, where’s Joe Rogan taking the hundred million dollars blood money from Spotify?” Bannon asked. “Where is he about Spotify putting (the shooter’s) rap videos up and making money off it. Why didn’t they notify the police?”

Steve Bannon is currently facing his own legal troubles after denying a congressional subpoena from the January 6th Select Committee. Bannon is claiming executive privilege to not have to testify despite him not serving the president in any official capacity for several years by the time the riots occurred.

What do you think about what Bannon said about Joe Rogan and his listeners? Do you think its wise for him to attack so many Americans along with the podcaster or is that only likely to cost Trump more votes than it will gain him?
