Biden Disciplines Border Patrol After Clearing Them Of Whipping Migrants

President Joe Biden has seemingly taken his revenge against a group of 4 border patrol agents who were falsely accused of whipping Haitian migrants crossing the border last year.

This week the Customs and Border Protections Commissioner Chris Magnus held a press conference where he announced the disciplinary actions against the agents while also simultaneously clearing them of the whipping accusations.

Magnus said in the press conference that, after the investigation, it was clear that none of the agents “were carrying whips” and that there was also no evidence that they struck any of their migrants with the horse reigns.

Magnus did criticize the officer’s handling of the incident overall, however.

“The report showed there were failures to make good decisions at multiple levels of the organization,” Magnus said. “Failures to maintain command and control over Horse Patrol Units, lack of appropriate policies and training, and the overall chaotic nature of the situation at Del Rio at the time contributed to the incident.”

The report from the CBP went on to accuse the 4 agents involved in screaming racial and nationality-based insults at the migrants on the scene and using unnecessary force to arrest at least one of them. No disciplinary actions have been named.

Many people online appear to believe that the disciplinary actions were taken to justify statements made previously by Joe Biden about the agents on the scene. Biden has in the past asserted that the Border Patrol agents did, in-fact, whip the black migrants and promised, “Those people will pay.”

It looks like at the end of the day, Biden got his wish and the 4 accused federal employees will pay the price. Do you think the government will actually punish them or is this all just for optics? Does Biden still believe they are racists?
