A Manhunt is in Progress in Southern California After A String of Armed Robberies at 7-Eleven Stores That Left 2 Men Dead

California has a crime problem. It’s gotten so bad there, that San Francisco already recalled and replaced their District Attorney who was soft on crime, and now Los Angeles is working on doing the same with their District Attorney. Their liberal policies have done nothing but give criminals more opportunities to commit more crimes. So it should come as no surprise that there has been a string of armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores in southern California.

There is a manhunt currently on, for the gunman who has killed two people and injured three others in a string of robberies at convenience stores in southern California.

It is believed that one gunman is responsible for at least five of the six robberies that were committed Monday in Brea, La Habra, Santa Ana, Upland and Riverside California.

The shootings took place after midnight on National 7-Eleven Day, which takes place on July 11, and authorities think that it was no accident that the string of robberies happened on that day. “There’s no way it can be a coincidence of it being 7-Eleven, July 11,” said Officer Ryan Railsback, a spokesperson for the Riverside Police Department.

One of the people murdered was a 40-year-old manager at the Brea location, Matthew Hirsch. His girlfriend said “he loved his job.”

Police have identified the man killed in the parking lot of the Santa Ana store as 24-year-old Matthew Rule, a father of three. At last report he was in critical condition. Clerks told FOX 11 that the suspect connected to the three incidents had visited the Santa Ana location the previous day and was not allowed inside.

7-Eleven released this statement: “Our hearts are with the victims and their loved ones. We are gathering information on this terrible tragedy and working with local law enforcement. Right now, our focus is on Franchisee, associate and customer safety. With that in mind, we encouraged stores in the Los Angeles area to close overnight.”

This is just one more in a string of examples of how bad crime has gotten in California. Liberal criminal justice “reforms” are making it unsafe to live and work there. Would you even visit California right now?
