Biden Official: “Strong Chance We’ll See Resurgence of the Virus” This Fall

President Biden’s Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra says that there’s a “strong chance we’ll see a resurgence of the virus” in the fall when asked if he sees needing more stimulus funds from Congress to fight the pandemic. Their concern comes right in time for midterm elections.

“What I will tell you is that come the fall and winter – uh, most everyone who’s uh an expert on pandemics and these viruses will tell you strong chance that we’ll see a resurgence of the virus whether it’s the [Covid] variants we have now or new variants and we gotta be ready,” Becerra said.

The video was captured by Just The News and clipped by the Gop War Room and caught the secretary leaving a Medal of Freedom ceremony.

“We’re going to do everything we can with the resources we have, and we’ll let Congress know what we can do with the resources we have,” Becerra told Just the News. “At the end of the day we need fuel. If we don’t get more fuel, we’ll take this vessel as far as we can.”

He was then asked if the Department of Health and Homeland Services was having trouble with the huge migration numbers we are seeing coming from our Southern border.

“As you can see from the reports, we’re not seeing children die in federal government custody, we’re not seeing children suffer further trauma and stress because they don’t have an adult guardian with them,” Becerra said speaking about the migrant children in their care. “We do everything we can to treat them as what they are: children. We’ve been fortunate to have a great team that’s worked very hard to make it possible for us to provide them with the care and dignity that we would want to see any child have.”

Customs and Border Protection stopped 239,000 migrants crossing in May, which is 2 percent higher than April. It’s certainly not helping the spread of the virus letting more people in the country that are generally unvetted.

Biden Snaps At Reporter Asking Why 64% Of Dems Don’t Want Him To Run

Dr. Anthony Fauci warned in a similar statement, “Everybody wants to put this pandemic behind us, and feel and hope that it doesn’t exist. It does.”

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky also urged people to get their shots “right away.”

This “resurgence” could not come at a better time for Biden. We are coming into midterms and Democrats are polling worse than they ever have before. It’s no wonder that there is a new variant coming out and the administration is pushing for more shots in arms. Do you think that Dems want to scare voters before midterms?
