Between Joe Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris, it’s often a contest to see who can commit worse word blunders. At least Biden has his age as an excuse, it’s not clear what Harris’s problem is. In fact, as a former prosecutor, one would expect her to have better control of her tongue. Here’s today’s episode of “who said it worse?”
Recently, Kamala Harris spoke at the American Rescue Plan Workforce Development Summit in Washington, D.C. Appearing alongside her were Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh, NC Governor Roy Cooper and Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and other leaders from across the country.
Part of Harris’s speech was to discuss how people need transportation to be able to get to work. Here’s where she got into trouble, saying, “Together, we are expanding access to transportation. It seems like maybe it’s a small issue; it’s a big issue. You need to get to go and need to be able to get where you need to go to do the work and get home.”
One person tweeted: “It’s unbelievable to me that despite everybody, left right and center, agreeing that she sounds like she’s giving a report for a book she never read, nobody in her inner circle has tried to remedy this.”
Maybe she thinks she’s above constructive criticism, or maybe she just doesn’t care. Here’s another one, from the not very distant past:
Have you seen Elon Musk’s SpaceX Explosion?
It kind of seems that she thinks what she’s saying makes sense. It doesn’t. Either no one has told her that, or she refuses to listen, it’s hard to tell. But having two people in the White House who make no sense much of the time is a catastrophe for this country. Can you understand Kamala Harris?
