Trump Urges Golf Pros to QUIT PGA for Saudi Owned LIV

Former US President Donald Trump urged professional golfers to dump the American PGA Tour in favor of Saudi Arabia’s new LIV tour.

The ex-President took to his own Truth Social network on Monday to declare that remaining PGA members should leave the “disloyal” golf tour, which he suggested will be forced to merge with the LIV in the near future.

All of those golfers that remain ‘loyal’ to the very disloyal PGA, in all of its different forms, will pay a big price when the inevitable MERGER with LIV comes, and you get nothing but a big ‘thank you’ from PGA officials who are making Millions of Dollars a year,”

“If you don’t take the money now, you will get nothing after the merger takes place, and only say how smart the original signees were,” he added before congratulating golfer Cam Smith on his recent LIV win.

Donald Trump, who developed a cozy relationship with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman during his time in office, recently signed a deal with the Saudi Arabian LIV to host their tournament at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf course from July 29 through July 31st.

The move has been heavily criticized by 9/11 Justice, a group of families of victims of the September 11th, 2001 attacks. The group has repeatedly pushed back against any American involvement in the Saudi program, suggesting that supporting LIV just gives money to the nation who allegedly helped to orchestrate the deadly attacks.

The group’s letter to Trump read, “The evidence, Mr. Trump, is more clear than ever. The Saudi nation is largely responsible for the death of our loved ones and for this horrific attack on America. And you know it.”

“We ask for the opportunity to have some of our family members visit with you in the coming days to discuss our concerns in person with you and urge you to cease further business with the regime that was complicit in the murder of our loved ones.”

The letter also references statements Trump made during the 2016 election when he blamed Saudi Arabia for the attacks and threatened to hold them accountable.

“Who blew up the World Trade Center? It wasn’t the Iraqis. It was Saudi. Take a look at Saudi Arabia, open up the documents,” he told FOX News at the time. “The people came, most of the people came from Saudi Arabia. They didn’t come from Iraq.”

Saudi Arabia has been offering significant pay increases for courses and players who join their league, including guaranteed prize money for losers. Do you think Trump is right to promote the LIV over the PGA?
