A new poll revealed that a majority of Americans believe that President Joe Biden lied when he said he was unaware of his son Hunter’s foreign business deals.
The poll from Rasmussen revealed that 69% of Americans believe that it is at least “somewhat likely” that the president is aware of his son’s controversial dealings. 49% of the same group polled believe that it is “very likely” Joe was aware of what Hunter was up to.
Only 22% of the people polled trusted the president’s claims about the dicey topic, saying it was “not very likely” or “not at all likely” that Joe Biden was aware. It’s possible they also thought he wasn’t aware because he simply forgot.
The new poll follows the release of a 2018 voicemail that now-president Joe Biden left on his son Hunter’s answering machine concerning his son’s deal with Chinese oil giant CEFC.
In the voicemail President Biden can be heard telling his son, “Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you.”
“I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance give me a call, I love you,” he continued.
With the existence of this voicemail in public, it could be hard to see how people are still unsure of Joe Biden’s knowledge of what Hunter was up to. The poll from Rasmussen shows that only one-third of the people polled claim to not follow news about the president’s son, almost mirroring the amount who believe the allegations.
Do you think the other 1/3 of the country that still trusts the president on this issue are in denial? Or is it because the liberal media refuses to cover major revelations like this whenever they can be avoided?
