Elon Musk May Have Ruined Google CEO’s Marriage With Affair

Tesla founder and world’s richest man Elon Musk has been accused of ruining the marriage of Google founder and CEO Sergey Brin after sleeping with his wife.

Musk, who has at least 10 children with 4 different women, apparently began sleeping with Brin’s wife Nicole Shanahan in December, 2021.

In the same month Musk welcomed another child with his on-again off-again girlfriend, the pop star Grimes. A month prior to the affair Elon also welcomed a secret set of twins with a former executive of one of his companies, Shivon Zilis. The existence of these 2 Musk children was not made public until August court filings gave their parentage away.

As a result of the affair with Musk, Brin and Shanahan filed for divorce in January for “irreconcilable differences.” The Google Founder used to be close friends with the Tesla CEO and even funded Musk’s company Tesla with $500,000 to stop it from going under during the 2008 financial crisis. Brin also loaned Musk Google’s venerated Party Jet as a wedding gift to help get his guests to Scotland for his marriage to Talulah Riley.

Musk and Brin as friends

Since then, Elon Musk has risen to become a modern day celebrity with a net worth of over $253 billion with Sergey Brin not far behind as the 8th richest man in the world with $93 billion to his name.

Now, however, Musk may have cost Brin a sizeable chunk of his wealth as the Google founder’s ex-wife is seeking a $1 billion payday as part of the divorce, more than she is entitled to according to their prenup. Nicole Shanahan is claiming that Brin made her sign the prenup “under duress” while she was pregnant.

According to the sources who revealed the affair, Elon Musk and Sergey Brin ran into each other at a party following the January divorce announcement. At the party it is reported that Musk dropped to his knees in front of everyone and begged Brin for forgiveness for his affair. While Brin has publicly accepted his apology, the source says the two former friends are no longer on speaking terms.

Musk has since responded to the claims published by the Wallstreet Journal, saying the affair is entirely untrue and the he and Brin are both close friends who hung out over the weekend along with an image of them together.

Brin met Shanahan in 2016 after his first divorce. She was already a fairly successful patent lawyer and entrepreneur in her own right, although her own success was dwarfed by that of her soon-to-be ex-husband.

Elon has often complained about the way his father handled relationships. Still, his own dating patterns seem very similar to those of his dad, who eventually dumped his wife to marry his own step-daughter. Do you think the alleged affair was just a normal thing in that world or is Elon playing with fire these days?
