Black Radio Star Charlamagne Destroys Biden on The View

Charlamagne Tha God tore into President Joe Biden’s failed leadership while appearing as a guest on The View on Monday.

Charlamagne, whose popular Podcast is considered as a key political platform to round up support from Black voters, to discuss his own interactions with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the past.

In December of 2021, Charlamagne asked Vice President Harris why Joe Biden was letting Senator Manchin walk all over him, asking her if Manchin was the real President of the United States thanks to Biden’s inaction. Kamala famously accused him of “Talking like a Republican.”

“What did she say?” the co-host asked, referencing his question over Manchin’s power in the United States.

“Nothing,” he responded. “She didn’t really give an answer. But as you can see, it seems that President Manchin is currently running this country.

The radio star then continued his inquiry, wondering who, if not Biden, was really in charge. He said, “In hindsight, people thought I was being harsh by asking that question, but now it’s like well, damn, who is running this country? Is it President Biden or Manchin?”

Behar conceded his point, saying that Manchin has gained significant power under Biden, although she blamed it on the “dysfunctional system” instead of the defunct leader. She then asked Charlamagne if he thought Democrats were failing at “countering the Republicans.”

“Yes, I feel like Democrats have tried every political strategy except for courage,” he said. “There are four things that need to be done to preserve democracy. One is get rid of the filibuster so you can properly legislate.”

Behar attempted to defend Biden again, firing back, “Manchin won’t have it,” Behar replied. “And [Democratic Arizona Sen.] Kyrsten Sinema, too. So it’s not his [Biden’s] fault.”

Charlamagne, an outspoken fan of Democrat socialists Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Bernie Sanders, then called for Congress to pack the Supreme Court, remove the filibuster, and prosecute anyone involved in orchestrating the January 6th riot.

“It takes courage to vote to get rid of the filibuster,” he added. “But it also takes courage to call out people like Joe Manchin, to call out people like Kyrsten Sinema and let us, the general public, know that people are blocking progress in this party.”

While Charlamagne’s political leanings are clearly far left, his willingness to criticize Biden led to Kamala labeling him a “Republican”. What do you think about his analysis of Biden’s leadership and Manchin’s role in the country? Do you think he will cause the Democrats to lose the votes of even more Black Americans in November?
