On Monday, Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley sent a letter citing “highly-credible whistleblowers” accusing the FBI and Justice Department of burying “verified and verifiable” crimes done by Hunter Biden and their efforts to classify it as “disinformation.” It’s something we all watched in real time in October of 2020.
The Senate Judiciary Committee head for the Republicans sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland containing the accusations that their offices are “institutionally corrupted to their very core.”
“You have an obligation to the country to take these allegations seriously, immediately investigate and take steps to institute fixes to these and other matters before you,” said Grassley in the letter.
Back in April, over 150 financial transactions involving Hunter and James Biden’s businesses were flagged by banks for further review. The US attorney in Delaware has also been investigating potential tax fraud, money laundering and foreign influence peddling, reported by CBS News.
According to the Senator, he was investigating Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings and “received a significant number of protected communications from highly credible whistleblowers.”
Grassley then found that the “FBI’s receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI’s false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation,” he wrote.
“The volume and consistency of these allegations substantiate their credibility and necessitate this letter,” he continued.
His whistleblower sources said “the FBI developed information in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s criminal financial and related activity,” he continued. “Based on allegations, verified and verifiable derogatory information on Hunter Biden was falsely labeled as disinformation.”
These actions continued until October 2020 in the midst of the election when the laptop story by the New York Post was classified as disinformation even though it was “verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants.”
Allegedly, the lead agent in charge “ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason.” He then “attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future.”
The Senator continued that those that tried to investigate Hunter Biden were then smeared as being part of “foreign disinformation.”

“Attorney General Garland and Director Wray, simply put, based on the allegations that I’ve received from numerous whistleblowers, you have systemic and existential problems within your agencies,” he alleged.
The FBI has declined to comment on Grassley’s letter.
Chuck Grassley is totally right to draw a line a sand aimed at the the justice department. There is a two-tiered justice system in this country that benefits rich liberals at the expense of everyone else.
