Fox News’ Bret Baier Says Jan 6 Hearings Make Trump Look Horrific

Bret Baier is Fox’s top political correspondent and he’s never hesitated to criticize Donald Trump. He isn’t hesitating now, either, saying that the January 6 committee hearings are making Trump “look horrific.”

Baier was speaking on “Media Buzz” Sunday, after having watched last Thursday night’s session, where they laid out 187 minutes of the happenings in Washington, D.C. on January 6. “To hear it and see it in that chronological order can be very powerful,” he said. He added that Trump’s inaction and Mike Pence’s action in “getting on the phone [was] “very telling.”

Speaking about Former national security aide Matthew Pottinger, who was the highest ranking Trump White House official to resign in the wake of the Capitol riot and Sarah Matthews, former deputy press secretary for the Trump White House, who recently testified, Baier said “All of these people who have been testifying at one point or another wanted Trump to win. They served under his leadership. They wanted him to be a success.”

The New York Post and The Wall Street Journal, both owned by Rupert Murdoch, like Fox, came down on Trump in editorials after last week’s hearings. “Trump failed,” the Journal’s editorial board wrote Friday, and “Trump’s silence on January 6 is damning,” the Post’s editorial board wrote.

Prince Harry recently attacked American Democracy at the UN, maybe he should go back to England

Fox News is the most watched conservative network and is quite influential. It seems like its owner, Rupert Murdoch, is really trying to influence his viewers, with how he had those editorials in both the Post and the Journal. Do you think voters are turning on Trump too?
