Some stories are just the worst, and this one is that. Childhood should be a time of carefree joy, but a beautiful 7-year-old boy is gone, under suspicious circumstances.
Seven-year-old Troy Khoeler’s parents reported him missing Thursday morning. His parents first noticed Troy was missing around 4:00 a.m. They called the constable’s office at about 5:20 a.m. Deputies searched the area of the boy’s home in Spring, Texas near Houston but didn’t find any sign of Troy. That’s when they decided to search his home.
“Troy was found in the top-load machine in the garage of the same home he was reported missing from, a Harris County Homicide detective said at the scene,” reports KHOU-11 in Houston.
“We don’t know what happened, but we intend to find out,” HCSO Lt. Robert Minchew said. “Whether he was killed by the washing machine or killed and placed in it, we’re just so far from that, I can’t comment.”
Troy was adopted in 2019 and lived in the home with his parents and no other siblings.
“A neighbor, Rudy Chupa, said “It’s bad, I mean, I’ve got great-grandkids, I don’t know how they’re coping with it. It shouldn’t happen to anybody. Wow.”
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Ends With Lesbian Kiss, parents surprised
A lot remains to be learned about what happened to Troy and how he died. Things like how and why his parents learned he was missing at 4:00 a.m., why it took almost an hour and a half to call the police, and whether he died in the washing machine or if he was killed and placed there. Do you think there was foul play?
