Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene filed Articles of Impeachment against Attorney General Merrick Garland on Friday.
House Resolution 1318 would “impeach Merrick Brian Garland, Attorney General of the United States, for endangering, compromising, and undermining the justice system of the United States by facilitating the persecution of President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.’s, political rival, Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States.”
Rep. Greene’s resolution claims that the attorney general’s “personal approval to seek a search warrant for the raid on the home of the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, constitutes a blatant attempt to persecute a political opponent,” according to the Hill.
Greene reiterated this claim while speaking to reporters on Friday.
On Thursday, as previously reported by The Next News Network, AG Garland announced that he “personally approved” the decision to seek the warrant for raiding Mar-a-Lago.
According to Newsmax, the search warrant was approved by a federal judge and was unsealed on Friday with consent from the Department of Justice and Trump’s legal team. The warrant suggested the FBI secured classified materials that had been taken to Mar-a-Lago, and, among the revelations, the documents mention a potential violation of the Espionage Act, Newsmax further reports.
President Trump has said that the documents found were not classified, and he has claimed presidential authority to classify and declassify documents.
“Number one, it was all declassified. Number two, they didn’t need to “seize” anything. They could have had it anytime they wanted without playing politics and breaking into Mar-a-Lago. It was in secured storage, with an additional lock put on as per their request,” Trump wrote on TRUTH Social.
Trump has also accused the FBI of planting evidence against him.

Merrick Garland has been associated with the corrupt, far-left Chicago political machine ever since he worked with Abner Mikva, the former Illinois Congressman and federal judge who was a favorite of Marxist agitator Saul Alinsky. It was Mikva along with current SCOTUS Justice Elena Kagan who sought to convince then-President Barack Obama to appoint Garland to the Supreme Court, but, thankfully, President Trump threw out that appointment. When President Biden took office, people should have known that Garland had a proverbial axe to grind.
Their are other items Garland can get impeached for such as not protecting our southern border and letting in drugs by the Cartels that kill thousands of young Americans.
He is doing everything to ruin this country, he must go and pay for it.
