Congressman Michael Mccaul absolutely annihilated Vice President Joe Biden over the botched Afghan withdrawal. It’s no secret that Biden has been under a lot of fire for his role in the botched Afghan withdrawal. And now, Mccaul had the guts to call him out on live TV.
In an interview with “Face The Nation,” Republican Texas Rep. Michael McCaul took aim at the Biden administration, according to the Daily Caller.
Margaret Brennan asked McCaul about the Biden Administration’s decision to withdraw from Afghanistan in 2021, a clip of which was shared on Twitter. Around 74,000 Afghans who are vulnerable still await visas to leave the Taliban-run state, Brennan noted.
According to McCaul, those people and the military warned him and possibly others that Afghanistan was on the verge of Taliban rule “sooner rather than later.”
The U.S hasn’t stayed out of Afghanistan since the withdrawal, last month the military sent a missile to kill an Al-Qaeda leader,
According to the Daily Caller, Images from the Kabul home where al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed suggest the U.S. used an R9X “ninja bomb” in the “counterterrorism operation.”
Photographs taken after Sunday’s successful operation against Zawahiri indicate the unique missile was once again used. “There is no evidence of explosive damage, which may indicate that the U.S. used an R9X ‘flying ginsu’ missile,” Charlies Listen, director of the Middle East Institute’s Syria program, tweeted.
Biden administration officials say Zawahiri was on the balcony when Hellfire missiles struck shortly after sunrise Sunday. The home belonged to Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Taliban’s de facto deputy leader, whose son and son-in-law were also killed.
We spent 20 years in Afghanistan and we can’t even stay out for more than a few months once we finally leave. McCaul was right to criticize Biden over their botched withdrawal and it should be embarrassing to all Americans
