New video of the Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff enjoying a trip to Whole Foods in California has those who rely on handicap parking absolutely furious.
A video taken from a bystander shows the Second Gentleman walking out of Whole Foods to his motorcade which was positioned in a way that was blocking multiple handicap parking spaces.
As noted by The Daily Wire, Emhoff and his motorcade were on the wrong side of California’s vehicle code, which states that “it is unlawful for any person to park or leave standing any vehicle in a stall or space designated for disabled persons and disabled veterans … unless the vehicle displays either a special identification license plate … or a distinguishing placard.”
FOX News’ Harris Faulkner reacted to the clip of Emhoff, calling out his blatant privilege.
Twitter users also weighed in on Emhoff’s motorcade blocking the parking spots.
One user wrote, “Elitist losers…and more waste of tax dollars – secret service acting as parking attendants for idiots…drive yourself and park your own damn car…no one knows who you are anyway.”
Another said, “Quite disappointing to see @SecondGentleman, Doug Emhoff, blocking disabled parking spaces two weeks after @VP Kamala Harris’s round table with disability advocates. No matter your political affiliation, we ALL need to respect #DisabilityRights.”
This person pointed out, “As someone who has a brother with a disability, it is inexcusable for the @SecondGentleman’s motorcade to block handicap parking spots. Doug Emhoff needs to apologize.”
And this Twitter user comically said, “Maybe he identifies as handicapped.”
So far, the Second Gentleman has not apologized or acknowledged the incident.

As a disabled veteran, it's been my experience that most people, including police, don't take handicap parking issues seriously. It is severly disappointing that no one parked infront and behind these bozos and themselves went shopping for an hour or so. I have never felt ashamed when having done so myself.
