BUSTED! Fmr Democrat Congressman Facing up to 105 Years in Prison! 28 Charges Filed!

This is huge! Just days ago, a former democrat congressman was indicted on 28 charges that could see him facing up to 105 years in prison. The charges include bribery, fraud and money laundering. If convicted, he could be looking at up to 105 years in prison. This is big news and will likely have major implications for the democratic party as a whole. Let’s dive into the details.

When we elect somebody to  represent us we are placing a trust into that person that they are going to do the job they were elected to do. Oh, and we also elect them to not commit crimes, unfortunately, often we see that that is just not the case. Politicians tend to become corrupt, seek personal wealth, and just undermine the trust in the office.

Daily wire reports. According to the indictment unsealed in federal court Tuesday, former U.S. Rep. TJ Cox (D-CA) faces 28 felony fraud charges. According to the Department of Justice, Cox has been charged with 15 counts of wire fraud, 11 counts of money laundering, one count of financial institution fraud, and one count of campaign contribution fraud in the Eastern District of California.

Those crimes come with a heavy penalty.

ABC 30 writes. As a result of federal guidelines, Cox could be sentenced to 105 years in prison if convicted on all charges, but legal analyst Tony Capozzi says it will be much less. Capozzi said the bigger the loss, the longer the punishment will be.

When will politicians get it. I mean seriously when will politicians just do the jobs that we elect them to do. This is a perfect example of why Americans are losing faith in their elected officials. Don’t drop the soap TJ.
