The popular conservative Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene Rep. Greene posted to Twitter shortly after the incident at 1 am on Wednesday.
“Last night, I was swatted just after 1 am. I can’t express enough gratitude to my local law enforcement here in Rome, Floyd County. More details to come.”
She shared the details of her horrific experience with Jack posobiec.
In case you have never heard of it, Swatting involves prank calls to emergency services in an attempt to summon a large number of armed officers to an address by making a prank call.
FOX NEWS reports. A false 911 call was made by an unknown individual claiming that a man had been shot multiple times in Greene’s bathtub. During their drive to Greene’s house, five Rome Police Department officers were informed that they would be responding the the Congresswoman’s home..
A second, voice-masked call was then made to the police department, stating that the false report was made in reaction to Greene’s stance on transgender issues.
Greene’s powerful words should be taken to heart by all of us. We need to stand up against these types of attacks and stop the leftist’s assault on conservative voices. We must also demand that our lawmakers take action to prevent swatting incidents from happening in the future.
