For weeks now, we’ve been waiting to see what would happen to Paul Pelosi after he was arrested for driving under the influence. Now, we finally have some answers.

Pelosi pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and causing injury in connection with drunk driving charges in May, according to FOX News.

Pelosi’s plea agreement calls for a five-day jail sentence, but Judge Joseph Solga noted that he already had credit for four days, two for actual time served and two for conduct credit.

Additionally, FOX reported that the California High Patrol released photos and videos taken the night of the crash.

It shows Pelosi’s alleged slurred speech and “objective” signs of intoxication, as well as police asking him to perform field sobriety tests.

Despite the road noise, Pelosi can be heard telling an officer that he had a “glass of champagne before dinner” and also “a glass of white wine.”

He didn’t mind taking the field sobriety test, but he definitely refused to take the breathalyzer.

His remaining day of service will be covered by an eight-hour work program. Additionally, the sentence includes a three-month drunk driving program, a year with an ignition interlock device, restitution payments, and three years of probation. During the agreement, Pelosi pleaded guilty to violating California Vehicle Code 23153(a), while a second charge was dropped.

Earlier this month, Pelosi pleaded not guilty to two charges after he allegedly hit another vehicle while driving drunk on May 28. A 2021 Porsche and a 2014 Jeep sustained “major collision damage” in the crash, and responding officers discovered Pelosi behind the wheel of his damaged vehicle near California Route 29 and Oakville Cross Road. Other than John Doe, no other details were provided about the driver. The day after the crash, Doe told Napa County prosecutors that he began experiencing pain in his upper right arm, right shoulder, and neck.
