What kind of society do we live in when the mayor of a city shows up to court to support a criminal over a female victim? Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened recently in New Orleans. The mayor of New Orleans, LaToya Cantrell, showed up to court to support a man who had been charged with carjacking a female victim. This is just another example of how insane the left is, supporting criminals over law abiding citizens time and time again. It is outrageous that the mayor would choose to stand with a criminal rather than the victim in this situation. Shame on her!

Law enforcement today writes. You literally cannot make this up. As an epidemic of armed carjackings rages across the country, the mayor of New Orleans, LaToya Cantrell decided that she would support people involved in a series of high profile carjackings in her city.

Oh, she didn’t show up in court to support the victims who had loaded guns put to their heads…she showed up to support the criminal thug who perpetrated the crimes.

As the 14-year-old suspect awaited sentencing for his role in the three armed carjackings, Cantrell decided to show her wokeness and progressiveness by making an unannounced appearance in juvenile court to support him.

Carjackings are a sign of a society in decline.

Fox News Writes. It turns out that the symptoms of societal decay are universal. They aren’t unique to any one society. Every country recognizes them at any time, whether it’s now or a thousand years ago. Weakness sets in among the men. Leaders become decadent. Politicization of law enforcement occurs. Things begin to fall apart when the currency is devalued.

It doesn’t take long for the society to be unable to perform its most basic function. To protect the weak from the strong is the reason we have societies in the first place. That’s why we have a society. It becomes extremely difficult to travel anywhere in places like this, among many other things. It’s just not possible to go where you want to go. Roads are not controlled by the police when legitimate authority is in retreat. Travelers are controlled by armed predators who take exactly what they want from people.

This latest example of the left supporting criminals over law-abiding citizens is just another reason why liberals need to stop and take a good look at themselves. They claim to care about victims, but time and time again they choose to support the perpetrators instead. This has got to end. We need to work together to put an end to violence in our society, and that starts with holding criminals accountable for their actions.
