BOOM! Left in Full Meltdown After DeSantis Punts Dr. Fauci With One TRIGGERING Line

On Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said that he was “sick of seeing” Dr. Anthony Fauci and that “someone needs to grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac.”

This comes after Fauci announced that he was stepping drom from his roles at the White House and the NIAID.

As per usual, the left took to Twitter to complain about DeSantis’ comments.

One user wrote, “Dr. Fauci is a world renowned infectious disease expert and director of the NIAID who has been a key advisor to 7 presidents on global health. Ron DeSantis is an impotent fascist”

Another said, “We know how weak a “man” is by the way he attacks an 81 year old man. A man who is his intellectual superior, and his moral superior. He has served this nation for decades. I’ve never seen so many weak, small men in one organization before.”

Another Twitter user wrote, “DeSantis needs to look at himself in a mirror and stop shopping in the Tiny Tikes Off The Rack. He will never be as educated or professional as Dr. Fauci.”

And, Jeremy Redfern who is Deputy Press Secretary for Governor Desantis, received an email from a reporter at The Daily Beast asking, “considering the death threats that Dr. Fauci has received, does the governor think this rhetoric is appropriate?”

As noted by the Washington Examiner, this isn’t the first time that DeSantis has directly targeted Fauci.

In a January campaign ad, DeSantis ripped Fauci, alleging his persistent flip-flopping has come at the expense of freedom in the United States.

DeSantis also sells “Fauci Can Pound Sand” flip-flops and “Don’t Fauci my Florida” Koozies on his campaign website.
