DERP: Biden BREAKS Silence Over Mar-a-Lago Raid – There’s Just ONE Problem With his Answer

During a press conference on Wednesday, President Joe Biden insisted he had “zero advance notice” of the FBI raid on President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home on August 8th.

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy was the reporter who asked Biden the question.

“I didn’t have any advance notice. None. Zero. Not one single bit,” Biden responded, putting his thumb and forefinger together to form a zero to emphasize his answer.

As noted by the Daily Wire, the FBI raid “kicked off speculation of who knew about it beforehand, and to what extent Biden himself was involved in the law enforcement action against a potential 2024 adversary.”

However, as we reported yesterday, Just the News revealed that Biden’s White House initiated the criminal investigation into alleged mishandling of documents long before it claimed to have no prior knowledge of the raid on Trump’s estate, working directly with the Justice Department and National Archives.

Based on contemporaneous government documents reviewed by the outlet, the FBI was able to review evidence retrieved from Mar-a-Lago this spring and eliminated executive privilege claims by the 45th president.

According to the memos, then-White House Deputy Counsel Jonathan Su was in contact with the FBI, DOJ and National Archives as early as April, shortly after 15 boxes of classified and other materials from Trump’s Florida house were voluntarily returned to the agency.

President Trump filed a lawsuit over the raid on Monday. US District Judge Aileen Cannon, whom Trump nominated to the bench in 2020, has been asked to appoint a special master to oversee an FBI audit of the materials seized during the raid. Furthermore, he requested that the court order the FBI to return any documents seized outside the scope of the warrant.
