If you remember anything from the Obama and Clinton era White House than Biden’s new climate appointee might sound familiar.

The Western Journal Reports. The White House announced Friday that former Clinton advisor and Democratic operative John Podesta will manage nearly $370 billion in green energy funding authorized by the recently passed climate bill.

In his role as chair of the National Climate Task Force, Podesta will oversee climate and clean energy initiatives under the Inflation Reduction Act.

Based on Forbes, the new law will contribute $60 billion to clean energy manufacturing, $1 billion to energy efficiency in affordable housing, and $27 billion to emissions reduction technologies.

The IRA provides $40 billion to the EPA and establishes electric vehicle and appliance efficiency tax credits, according to the outlet. Furthermore, it funds over $60 billion for “environmental justice” activities in rural communities and supports “climate-smart” agriculture practices.

Podesta Posed on Twitter following this announcement saying, “Breaking my Twitter Boycott to celebrate Senate passage of IRA and its massive investments in clean energy and climate. TY activists;TY Dems; yes even TY @Sen_JoeManchin. Lots more to do. Onward. #ActOnClimate”

Biden said, “His deep roots in climate and clean energy policy and his experience at senior levels of government mean we can truly hit the ground running to take advantage of the massive clean energy opportunity in front of us,”

Marjorie Taylor Green joined Steve Bannon on War Room and briefly talked about Podesta.

CNN Reports. As a former top climate adviser to former President Barack Obama, Podesta played an integral role in the administration’s climate and international negotiations that led to the Paris Climate Accord. Informally advising the Biden administration on climate issues, Podesta was most recently at the liberal think tank, Center for American Progress.

Podesta has proven to be a typical Democrat operative with deep ties to the leftist elite. There’s no knowing why he was truly brought on by Biden and what he’ll do with the funds he’s been appointed to oversee. One thing we do know is that we have to keep a close eye on him.
