Pink Floyd rockstar, Roger Waters, stunned those at his most recent concert in NYC with some intense political messages shining bright on the screens behind him.
According to Billboard, On his This Is Not a Drill tour, Roger Waters played a pre-recorded warning from the speakers before he took the stage at Madison Square Garden’s second show.
Billboard notes that as the 78-year-old legend’s current tour is as heavy on political commentary as it is on music from the influential psych-rock band he helped create, it was a fair warning.
While he was singing the song “Another Brick in the Wall”, images of Joe Biden appeared on the screen, with the words, “war criminal”, accompanying them.
This comes after, in an interview on CNN weeks ago, the rockstar blasted Biden, accusing the Democratic president of “fueling the fire” in Ukraine, and claiming that the United States did not have a “liberating role” in the conflict between the Eastern European nation and Russia.
