Joe Rogan is promoting his upcoming shows with a hilarious poster mocking VP Kamala Harris.
According to the Daily Caller, For his upcoming show, Joe Rogan created a photoshopped poster of Kamala Harris, calling her out for advocating for Brittney Griner’s freedom while imprisoning people for marijuana charges.
Rogan’s poster depicted Harris as a police officer wearing a “Free Brittney Griner” pin, arresting him while he smoked marijuana. He posted it on his Instagram page on Saturday.
During her tenure as San Francisco’s district attorney and California’s attorney general, she oversaw thousands of marijuana-related prosecutions and was a vocal opponent of marijuana legalization
As noted by Forbes, a reporter famously asked Harris how she felt about her opponent’s support for cannabis legalization, and Harris responded by saying he was “entitled to his opinion.”
Harris also declined to support California’s 2016 legalization ballot measure.
Despite her past history on cannabis, she seemed to shift gears rapidly over the last few years, apparently becoming an advocate for cannabis reform.
For example, in 2020 she tweeted, “The Senate must pass my Marijuana Opportunity Act to legalize marijuana at the federal level and expunge non-violent marijuana-related offenses from the records of the millions who’ve been arrested or incarcerated. Too many lives have been ruined by these regressive policies.”
And, While appearing on The Breakfast Club podcast in 2019, Harris expressed support for cannabis legalization – even mentioning that she had smoked marijuana in college.
