CNN made a huge announcement this week regarding their new hires. After purging the network of some of their longtime personalities, the network is now bringing on people to fill their shoes. Let’s find out who they are.

CNN is revamping!

According to The Daily Caller. The new CNN chairman and CEO, Chris Licht, announced Tuesday some of the network’s first big hires following the firing of some hard-left hyper-partisan personalities.

The network hired John Miller as its Chief Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analyst. According to CNN, Miller was most recently Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence & Counterterrorism for the NYPD and was also a correspondent for CBS News and ABC News as well as co-anchor of ABC’s “20/20.”

Miller covered major news stories such as the Boston Marathon bombings and September 11 terrorist attacks, and famously interviewed al-Qaeda leader and 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden on camera.

Licht said of Miller, “John will help deliver on CNN’s commitment to tackle complex issues while presenting audiences with independent, objective news and meaningful analysis across platforms,” “As both a brilliant journalist and experienced, compelling subject matter expert, he brings to the network an incredible breadth of knowledge.”

CNN has also hired Dr. Tara Narula as its new medical correspondent

Previously, Narula was a senior medical correspondent at CBS News, reporting on all CBS News broadcasts and platforms

In recent weeks, CNN parted ways with some hard-left hyper partisan personalities, including Brian Stelter and John Harwood. John Malone one of CNN largest investors, announced that he wanted to see a change in the company and to get back to “real” journalism”.

Since joining CNN in 2012, Licht has been evaluating the network’s so-called “talent” to reduce the extreme partisanship that has plagued the network in recent years.

According to Puck News, Licht is considering dismissing Jim Acosta and Brianna Keilar from the network, although a New York Post report from late last month indicated that Acosta would be safe for now.

Last week, the Daily Mail reported that network staffers “fear a network-wide purge” of “woke” talent.

One CNN journalist said, “People are freaked out,” “It almost feels like there’s a pattern. Is there a purge going on? They seem to be sending a message: ‘Watch what you say. Watch what you do.’”

It’s awesome to see this type of purge going on at CNN. The higher ups clearly realized that hyper partisan propaganda was not what the American people wanted and wasn’t good for business. Hopefully we will see some real news on CNN in the near future.
