The View is back at it again, making ridiculous claims and attacking their audience. Whoopi Goldberg and the other hosts are coming after Viewers of a new TV show and even calling them racist for their opinions. Wait until you see why.

This one is absolutely ridiculous.

According to The Daily Wire. They believe that people who dislike “Game of Thrones” and “Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power” are just racists.

The co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, took a lead in calling out critics, claiming they had a problem with black actors in the casts. Her message was to remind them that fantasy shows are fiction and that dragons and hobbits are not real.

According to Goldberg, viewers will also be opposed to the live-action remake of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” because it features a black lead. Reviewers of “Rings of Power” should focus on something else, she says.

The majority of the negative reviews of “Rings of Power” seem to be unrelated to the addition of diverse actors. As a result of the backlash, Amazon suspended user reviews for 72 hours, claiming critics were “review bombing”.

A number of negative comments mention clunky dialogue, a lack of depth, and poor acting, but don’t comment on the actors’ skin color. Even the detractors praise the beautiful sets and scenery. However, they complain that the storytelling is lacking.

One Rotten Tomatoes reviewer wrote, “The writing is terrible, it is unfathomably dull and nearly unwatchable altogether. Rocks look down? Ridiculous. Lazy. I had a hard time staying awake and will likely give the rest of it a pass,” “It’s just not connective or interesting or even related to the LotR except in some ham handed attempt to be ‘like’ it.”

The show has also received intense backlash on twitter where people pointed out how low budget the new trailer looks.

One person responded to this trailer saying “I watched the first two episodes of Rings of Power and it’s bad. This whole #woke trend spoils it. Boring as hell. Bad make-up. Lack of suspense. But lots of diversity and really bad acting. The fast-forward button on your remote helps.”

Another show has gone woke and the viewers are not happy. You’d think at this point TV studios would realize that just by making a cast more diverse doesn’t mean your show is going to get better. Diversity itself isn’t the problem, it’s prioritizing it over things that really matter, like story development and plot. The View clearly doesn’t get this and calling viewers racist for pointing it out isn’t going to help anyone. Try again Whoopi.
