After a Texas sheriff launched an investigation into Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for bussing illegal migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, the Governor is hitting back hard.
According to the Washington Examiner, Authorities in Texas are investigating Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ decision to fly near 50 immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Sheriff Javier Salazar announced in a news conference that his office is investigating whether the immigrants are victims.
As noted by the Daily Wire, the sheriff admitted that he could not name any laws that were broken and he did not name any suspects.
The Daily Wire also reports that a spokesperson for DeSantis responded to Salazar’s remarks by saying in a statement: “Immigrants have been more than willing to leave Bexar County after being abandoned, homeless, and ‘left to fend for themselves.’”
“Florida gave them an opportunity to seek greener pastures in a sanctuary jurisdiction that offered greater resources for them, as we expected,” the spokesperson continued. “Unless the MA national guard has abandoned these individuals, they have been provided accommodations, sustenance, clothing and more options to succeed following their unfair enticement into the United States, unlike the 53 immigrants who died in a truck found abandoned in Bexar County this June.”
Governor DeSantis himself addressed the investigation while on FOX News Monday night.

As noted by the Daily Caller, The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) encountered 203,597 migrants in August, bringing the fiscal year’s total to 2,150,639, according to agency statistics released Monday. These numbers are the highest ever since records have been available.

I want to tell that Texas sheriff to mind his own business. We want to do the same thing: send the immigrants to the norther states so they know what we have to deal with. What goes on in Florida is none of Texas business.
Where do they find these people? This guy an Hispanic person, treated these "refugees" horribly, just like the Sheriff in Uvaldi allowed another democrat loon to murder so many innocent children and their teachers, while the policemen loitered outside listening to the gunfire. It took members of the Border Patrol to travel for an hour to get there and end the carnage. Good job, democrats.
Abbott, our gov. of Texas should fire that sheriff. I don't know why he doesn't. That sheriff should mind his own business. He lives in Texas not Florida.
